To determine length, measure entire length of screw and/or check with the product brand to determine correct length.
Below are some common foil uses for M8 screws:
M8X16MM - Used on PowerPlate to connect to Plate/Pedestal Mount.
M8x20MM - Common Wing(s) to Fuselage
M8x25MM - 2020 Slingshot Plate/Pedestal Mount (w/ T-Nuts) and to connect wings to fuselage
M8x30MM - Common Plate/Pedestal Mount to Board (using T-Nuts)
M8x35MM - Fuselage to Mast and/or Mast to Plate/Pedestal Mount.
M8x40MM - Common Fuselage to Mast and/or Mast to Plate/Pedestal Mount.
M8X50MM - Common Fuselage to Mast and/or Mast to Plate/Pedestal Mount.
M8X60MM - Common Fuselage to Mast and/or Mast to Plate/Pedestal Mount.
M8X70MM - Common Fuselage to Mast and/or Mast to Plate/Pedestal Mount.
Standard drive is Hex/Allen Key (5mm), but some sizes only available in Phillips (#4) drive.
Note: Foils also often use M6 screws not M8. Naish uses M6. And many brands use M6 to connect Wings to Fuselages. NorthLine also stocks M6 screws.
